Eko VPJ280 Relic Red
We all know the timeless silhouette that inspired the design of the VPJ280 Relic: the characteristic double cut style guaranteeing
excellent access to each and every fret. Equipped with two single pickups and a bridge with 4 saddles, a classic combo. This classic configuration was taken over by the Italian manufacturer Eko in order to make the VPJ280 Relic an attractive, versatile and ergonomic electric bass guitar, with a vintage look!
Despite its affordable price, the build quality of the VPJ280 Relic has benefited from the greatest attention in order to offer beginners an attractive and very well built bass guitar. The body, made from Paulownia to provide lightness and strength, is finished in a reliqued satin finish. The robust and comfortable 4-point bolt-on maple neck is topped with a South American roupana fingerboard bringing clarity and warmth to the snap ofthe combination of Paulownia and maple.
The VPJ280 Relic is equipped with 2 type P and J single coil pickups which makes this a very versatile bass guitar. These pickups give you a very clear and warm sound, but can also sound really aggressive when paired with a powerful distortion pedal. To extend the sound possibilities, a volume knob per pickup and an overal tone knob are added to dial in your favourite sounds. The bridge/tailpiece incorporates independently adjustable saddles
to easily adjust the action of each string.
