On September 25th, KEYMUSIC organizes together with Q-factory, De Bassist Magazine and Cort Guitars the Jeff Berlin Cort Bass Clinic. Jeff's innovative bass playing has been featured for more than forty years, in dozens of recordings and countless live shows by many exceptional artists. Jeff has worked with jazz / fusion virtuosos such as Allan Holdsworth, Bill Bruford, Larry Coryell, Yes, Billy Cobham, Scott Henderson, Dennis Chambers, John McLaughlin and Michael & Randy Brecker, and has made a name for himself as one of the most influential bass players in the world. Jeff Berlin is not only a bass legend, he is also one of the most charismatic bass teachers for contemporary jazz & fusion.

Nobody teaches like Jeff does. He is outspoken about many popular methods for learning bass. Jeff shows the weaknesses of these study methods and how you learn to play better with his own (well thought out) method. Even music teachers who want to develop their teaching methods, but also non-bass players and beginners will gain a lot of inspiration for dealing with their/an instrument. Jeff demonstrates this in a very interactive way. Participants can show what they can and Jeff will give you the 'tips & tricks' with which you can effectively improve your game.

Questions and criticism are also welcome - every participant must be given the opportunity to get the best out of this clinic for themselves. Jeff does not only invite typical bass players to come to his clinic, but also all other musicians, regardless of their background, and anyone who would like to learn how to play an instrument. Jeff wants to show people how easy it is to pick up an instrument and play it with pleasure and enthusiasm.
