FGN J-Standard Odyssey Classic SC Charcoal
The Seymour Duncan STK-S4 and SSL-1 Single Coils in combination with the TB-4 humbucking humbucker on the bridge are a very well-balanced set that offers a wide range from typical bell-shaped surf sounds to singing lead sounds. Like all FGN models, the Iliads are "Made in Japan" and have the essential FGN features, such as the Circular Fretting System (CFS).
Rejuvenated Neck Foot
The softly rounded and tapered neck foot helps to play effortlessly even in the highest altitudes.
Satined Neck
Many players find a lacquered back of the neck a hindrance to smooth play, and the throat is increasingly dull in sweaty hands. Therefore, FGN has developed a special satin finish for the back of the neck, which can be extremely smooth and fluid play.
Perfectly Rounded Frets
The frets of each Expert Series instrument are extremely meticulously and carefully rounded off at the edges by the FGN guitar makers. The result is an incredibly comfortable feeling in all situations.
Seymour Duncan Pickups
The J-Standard series is equipped with pickups from the well-known forge of Seymour Duncan.
In the Odyssey Classic SC model, Fujigen is fitting the STK-S4 at the neck, as well as the SSL-1 in the middle position and the TB-4 humbucker at the bridge. The two single coils deliver traditional, bell-like surf sound with silky heights, while the TB-4 humbucker on the bridge delivers punchy mids, slender basses and a good dose of treble for singing lead sounds.
