Deze speciaal ontworpen hoofdtelefoons verminderen het geluid van buitenaf, en bieden een waardevolle bescherming voor mogelijke gehoorschade. De SIH1 vermindert het algemene geluidsniveau met 24 dB en heeft hoge kwaliteit stereo hoofdtelefoons. Anders dan niet-isolerende hoofdtelefoons, waar muzikanten hun eigen muziek zo waanzinnig hard moeten zetten om het duidelijk te kunnen horen, vermindert de SIH1 omgevingsgeluid van de instrumenten. Dit stelt de muzikant in staat om mee te spelen met de opgenomen muziek of de andere artiesten in een live-situatie te horen op een comfortabel en veilig geluidsniveau.
