Fender Custom Zebrawood Stratocaster NOS
Deze zeer speciale Stratocaster is gemaakt van het zeldzame Afrikaanse Zebrawood. Voor zover wij weten is er nog ergens een Telecaster versie, maar is dit de enige Fender Zebrawood Strat ter wereld! NOS staat voor New Old Stock, er is geen veroudering of slijtage toegepast, maar de specificaties zijn exact gelijk aan de Stratocaster zoals die gemaakt werd in de originele periode, in dit geval begin jaren '60. Bijzonder aan dit unieke Custom Shop instrument is de afwezigheid van een 'ribcage', er is aan de achterkant geen materiaal weggehaald voor meer comfort tegen het lichaam, en de gitaar weegt dan ook meer dan de traditionele stratocasters. Zebrawood wordt gewonnen in de Centraal-Afrikaanse regio (Gabon, Kongo en Kameroen), en is slechts in zéér kleine hoeveelheden beschikbaar. Deze gitaar kom je nergens anders meer tegen!

 Fender Eric Clapton Gold Le… The original Gold Leaf guitar was built by Fender Master Builder Mark Kendrick as a custom order for Eric Clapton at the time of the 50th Anniversary of the firm in 1996 and was Clapton's main instrument of choice during the Legends period in 1997. Clapton used the guitar for the last time during his One More Car, One More Rider world tour of 2001 before selling it to Christies for US $455,000. The Fender Custom Shop reissued the Gold Leaf Stratocaster after 8 years of absence as a limited-edition run of 50 pieces. Each guitar was built to Eric's exacting specifications, with Fender's Vintage Noiseless pickups and a standard tone control instead of the Gold Lace Sensor pickups and TBX tone circuit (re-introduced in 2009) found on the original 1996 model.  Gibson Custom Paul Kossoff… Paul Kossoff had a unique take on the blues-rock movement, exhibited particularly in the masterful vibrato that helped to give his Les Paul a huge, dynamic voice—and the 1959 Gibson Les Paul Standard on which he achieved such heights is known to be one of greatest sounding ’Bursts ever made. Since Paul’s death in 1976, this coveted guitar has remained in the possession of Arthur Ramm, Paul’s close personal friend. Now, in cooperation with the Kossoff estate, Gibson Custom has gained access to this incredible Les Paul in order to painstakingly recreate it in strictly limited numbers. Digitally scanned, measured and tested in England by Gibson Custom, this rare piece of musical history has been documented in intimate detail in order to recreate as closely as possible the tone, look and feel of the guitar in its current condition, as Paul left it when he passed away. The result, presented by Gibson Custom in the form of the Paul Kossoff 1959 Les Paul Standard, will be reproduced as just 100 hand-aged guitars, and a further 250 guitars treated with Gibson’s proprietary VOS process.

 Gibson Randy Rhoads Les Pau… Randy Rhoads had één van de kortste maar schitterendste carrières aan de top van de Rock 'n' Roll wereld. Zijn werk met Ozzy Osbourne is tijdloos en levert nog steeds inspiratie voor aankomende metalgitaristen, en zijn legende is alleen nog maar groter geworden met zijn voortijdige dood door een vliegtuigongeluk in 1982. De Gibson Custom Shop heeft nu Rhoad's witte Les Paul Custom uit 1974 nagemaakt. Het is een getrouwe weergave van de gitaar waar Rhoads met Ozzy op speelde, en waar hij nog steeds mee geässocieerd wordt. Dit is de 'Crazy Train' gitaar, het liedje waar Ozzy's solocarrière mee begon, en wat nog steeds zijn meest iconische non-Black Sabbath tune is. Hij heeft een 'sandwich' '70 body met maple bovenblad. De hals is van mahonie en de toets van ebbehout. De Super '74 Humbuckers zijn nieuw ontwikkeld, en leveren een heerlijke klank.
