De American Vintage '62 van vandaag de dag heeft het geluid en gevoel van het origineel uit het Kennedy tijdperk.  Fender Duo Tone 60s Stratoc… Deze Duo Tone Stratocaster is een nieuwe Fender combinatie van twee decennia. De elzen body van de jaren '60 strat heeft de essen vleugels van de jaren '50! De body is gemaakt uit drie delen, het middelste gedeelte heeft het originele elzenhout terwijl de twee buitenste gedeelten, de vleugels, gemaakt zijn van essenhout voor een heldere klank. Op deze manier heb je nog steeds het karakteristieke warme en gebalanceerde geluid van de jaren '60, maar met een duidelijker uitgesproken klank, vooral in de hoge tonen. De palissander hals en de 3 Tone Sunburst afwerking geven hem de vintage looks die horen bij een echte Fender 60's Relic.

 Fender Eric Clapton Gold Le… The original Gold Leaf guitar was built by Fender Master Builder Mark Kendrick as a custom order for Eric Clapton at the time of the 50th Anniversary of the firm in 1996 and was Clapton's main instrument of choice during the Legends period in 1997. Clapton used the guitar for the last time during his One More Car, One More Rider world tour of 2001 before selling it to Christies for US $455,000. The Fender Custom Shop reissued the Gold Leaf Stratocaster after 8 years of absence as a limited-edition run of 50 pieces. Each guitar was built to Eric's exacting specifications, with Fender's Vintage Noiseless pickups and a standard tone control instead of the Gold Lace Sensor pickups and TBX tone circuit (re-introduced in 2009) found on the original 1996 model. Custom Shop, Master Builder Dennis Galuszka, Gold Hardware, Real gold leaf. Case included.

A Rosewood fingerboard is punctuated beautifully with triangular pearloid inlay markers, while the maple double bound neck and body are solid through and through.
