Gibson Custom Les Paul Alpi… Crafted for those that prefer the traditional tone and feel of the Us Paul Custom in a bolder aesthetic, the Limited Edition Us Paul Custom Maple is sure to please. Sonically and from a tactile standpoint maple and ebony perform in very similar fashion; both provide slightly brighter attack and a solidfeel that compliments "faster" play. This small batch run of maple board Us Paul Customs is a distinguished reverse on the traditional "tuxedo" look of the original Us Paul Custom. The Us Paul Custom's entire tone palette is left intact, with a 490R pickup installed in the rhythm position and a 498T in the treble position. Visually, the departure is bold with maple's light appearance slightly "washing out" the pearl block inlays and 1 layer (neck and back) and 5 layer (headstock, top and back) black and white binding appointments, an Inverse effect of the traditional Custom's ebony board, which serves to bring the same elements into bold relief. It's a matter of taste that has led to this feature becoming one of the more frequently chosen custom options when players commission a customized Us Paul. For the first time, Gibson Custom Shop is offering a limited number of maple board Us Paul Customs In our two most popular finishes; ebony and alpine white. Both are true to the original modem Us Paul Custom in every other way, from th#ir electronics to their aesthetic appointments, which include the iconic "split-diamond" inlay adorning the headstock.

Gibson Custom Joe Perry Bon… Ever since the band’s classic early hits like “Walk This Way”, “Same Old Song and Dance”, “Sweet Emotion”, “Toys in the Attic”, and “Back in the Saddle”, Aerosmith’s Joe Perry has been known for coining some of the fiercest riffs in music. No one rocks harder than Perry and Aerosmith, and no band has more intensely embodied the life, either, through ups and downs, departures and comebacks, they have remained a rock icon in the classic sense: mean, raw, and ready rip up the stage. For four decades, Perry has made the Gibson Les Paul his go-to guitar, and this legendary electric’s fat tone, singing sustain, and unparalleled playability have remained at the center of his sound. Gibson Custom honors Perry’s achievement with the Joe Perry Boneyard Les Paul, an instrument that embodies both the radical style and the unparalleled tone of this reiffmeister supreme. Comes with a Custom Shop hardshell case and Certificate of Authenticity.

Gibson Collectors Choice No… Gibson Custom’s Collector’s Choice™ series is devoted to painstaking replication of choice original vintage Les Pauls. As a result, these guitars bring players and collectors closer to owning a specific, existing vintage Les Paul than anything else available on the market. The latest in the series—Collector’s Choice™ #8 1959 Les Paul “The Beast”—embodies everything that made the 1959 Les Paul legendary in the first place, in the exacting image of a true workhorse ’Burst that has toured the stages and studios of the world in the hands of a legendary rocker. British guitarist Bernie Marsden is one of rock’s true road warriors. As a founding member of Whitesnake and guitarist with several other bands, projects, and notable solo artists, Bernie has laid down some of rock’s hottest riffs for more than five decades, and his prized 1959 Les Paul, serial number 9–1914, has been there through it all. Through the collaboration between the craftspeople at Gibson Custom and the generous cooperation of owner/artist Bernie Marsden himself, this hallowed ’Burst now comes to life in a strictly Limited Edition with a maximum of 300 guitars, all representing every detail of this road-tested veteran, from its faded “Dirty Lemon” finish, to its patina and playing wear—and most of all, its feel and tone. The process of creating a Collector’s Choice™ guitar involves detailed hands-on analysis of the original, along with intimate digital scanning and precise measurement of every output and specification. The exceptional accuracy used to craft Collector’s Choice™ #8 1959 Les Paul “The Beast” includes attaining similar lightweight, one-piece mahogany bodies and similarly figured carved maple tops, recreating the precise beefy ’50s neck to match the original’s distinctive and individual profile, and developing a custom-wound set of pickups that includes a Burstbucker #2 in the neck and a Burstbucker #3 in the bridge to recreate The Beast’s unique chimey-to-throaty tone range. To take it all further, Gibson Custom accurately matches every nuance of the finish aging and playing wear found on the original, with the result that the final guitars have been thoroughly approved by Bernie himself for adherence to the original’s look, feel, and tone. In addition to being an uncannily accurate recreation of a legendary guitar, Collector’s Choice™ #8 1959 Les Paul “The Beast” also features Gibson Custom’s 20th Anniversary Historic Specifications, which bring the Custom Shop reproductions closer to the real thing than ever before. These specifications, introduced for 2013, include a single-layer rosewood fingerboard, hot hide glue neck joint, accurate fingerboard and body binding color, historically accurate truss rod assembly, and genuine aniline dye for the guitar’s back, neck, and sides. Further period-correct details are found in the neck’s nylon 6/6 nut, holly headstock veneer with pearl Gibson logo, reissue Kluson™ Deluxe tuners, ABR-1 bridge with lightweight aluminum stopbar tailpiece, Bumble Bee tone caps, and more. For player’s and collector’s seeking the look, feel, and tone of an exceptional original 1959 Les Paul Model guitar played and loved by a respected artist, Collector’s Choice™ #8 1959 Les Paul “The Beast” represents a rare opportunity. The guitar will be produced in no fewer than 25 and no more than 300 examples, depending on the availability of suitable materials, and each will include a silkscreened brown Custom Shop hardshell case and owner’s manual and a Custom Shop Collector’s Choice™ #8 Artist Certificate of Authenticity.

Gibson 50th Anniversary Of… They might have originated from two very different companies on the opposite sides of the Atlantic Ocean, but the Gibson Les Paul and Marshall amplifiers were a marriage made in rock heaven right from the start. From the time Jim Marshall put his name on the first fire-breathing JTM45 head in 1962, it was clear that this was the amp the Les Paul had been waiting for. To celebrate 50 Years of the most iconic amplifier brand in the history of rock, Gibson Custom and Marshall Amplification are proud to introduce the very Limited Edition 50th Anniversary of Marshall Les Paul Goldtop. Gibson 1968 Les Paul Collec… Gibson Custom's Collector's Choice™ series is devoted to painstaking replication of choice original vintage Les Pauls. As a result, these guitars bring players and collectors closer to owning a specific, existing vintage Les Paul than would likely happen in their lifetime. While many of these are guitars exist mainly in the confines of acclaimed collections, the latest in the series is a genuine part of rock history—its tone will already be known to most readers from several of the biggest hit songs of the late '70s. Collector's Choice™ #10 Tom Scholz 1968 Les Paul recreates this stripped-down and hotrodded '68 Goldtop just as it was used by Scholz, guitarist of the legendary rock band Boston, to create the band's greatest moments, notably on their debut album, Boston. As the first replica of an original vintage guitar outside of the '59-'60 burst, Gibson Custom couldn't have asked for a more compelling model. Gibson Custom studied every curve, output measurement, ding and scratch of the original guitar, with close cooperation from Tom Scholz himself. The final results are represented in a strictly limited run with a maximum production of 300 guitars. As an accomplished sound engineer, MIT graduate, inventor, and holder of dozens of electronic patents, Scholz—not surprisingly—modified the original guitar extensively. Prior to the recording of the first Boston album he stripped the gold finish down to the natural maple, and added a DiMarzio Super Distortion humbucking pickup in the bridge position, while retaining the guitar's original P-90 in the neck position. He also replaced the original Klusons™ with the Schaller™ M6 tuners that were popular at the time. Along with these accurately reproduced player modifications, the Collector's Choice™ #10 Tom Scholz 1968 Les Paul also features the 14-degree headstock pitch and cream binding that widens with the edge of the maple top in the cutaway, both period-correct details of the late-'60s Les Paul Standard. In addition, Collector's Choice™ #10 guitars also benefit from Gibson Custom's 20th Anniversary Historic Specifications, which bring the Custom Shop reproductions closer to the real thing than ever before. These specifications, introduced for 2013, include a single-layer rosewood fingerboard, hot hide glue neck joint, accurate fingerboard and body binding color, and historically accurate truss rod assembly. In keeping with the original 1968 Les Paul, the Collector's Choice™ #10 Tom Scholz 1968 Les Paul has a body of solid, unchambered Grade-A mahogany with a two-piece top of selected plain maple, stripped of the Goldtop finish it would have originally worn. The top is now finished in Antique Natural while the back, neck and sides are walnut, all in hand-aged nitrocellulose lacquer. The one-piece mahogany neck is carved to the precise profile taken from Tom Scholz's original guitar, a full shape with plenty of "cheek." True to the original instrument, the Collector's Choice™ #10 Tom Scholz 1968 Les Paul carries an ABR-1 Tune-o-matic bridge and lightweight aluminum stopbar tailpiece, along with gold Top Hat knobs with silver inserts and a nylon 6/6 nut (cut on Gibson's PLEK for utmost accuracy). The guitar comes with no pickguard installed, but the mounting screw holes have been drilled, as on the original guitar. For players and collectors seeking the look, feel, and tone of a legendary guitar played in the studio and on stage by a platinum-selling artist, the Collector's Choice™ #10 Tom Scholz 1968 Les Paul represents a rare opportunity. The guitar will be produced in no fewer than 25 and no more than 300 replicas, depending on the availability of suitable materials. Each will include a silkscreened brown Custom Shop hardshell case and owner's manual and a Custom Shop Collector's Choice #10 Certificate of Authenticity.

Gibson 1960 Reissue Plainto… The Gibson 1960 Les Paul Plain Top, Iced Tea is a 6-string eletric guitar and a reissue of one of the rarest Les Paul models ever. The Gibson 1960 Les Paul Plain Top celebrates the 1960 Les Paul, which was originally made in short supply due to the Les Paul's dwindling sales in the late 1950s. As Gibson were changing the Les Paul design into what became the SG, there was a three-year period where the traditional Les Paul design was made with subtle design changes. The 1960 Les Paul could arguably be called an 'in-between' model, as it featured the all-solid body and Patent-Applied-For pickups of the 1950s models, with a slim tapered neck from the 1960s. The 1960 Les Paul Plain Top Reissue features a solid mahogany body with a beautiful plain maple top. The neck is mahogany and cut into a 1960s slim, tapered neck and topped by a rosewood fingerboard. There are 22 frets, decorated with trapezoid inlays. The 1960 LP PT Reissue is fitted with a pair of Burstbucker pickups, made with unpolished magnets and non-potted coils, providing vintage tones like those found in the 1950s Patent-Applied-For pickups. There are Volume and Tone controls for each pickup as well as a 3-way pickup selector switch. Additional appointments include CTS pots and bumblebee capacitors, an ABR-1 bridge and stopbar tailpiece. The 1960 Les Paul Plain Top is finished in an Iced Tea colour and comes complete with a Custom Shop Hardshell case and a certificate of authenticity.

Gibson 1960 Les Paul Reissu… The 1960 Les Paul Reissue from Gibson Custom is an accurate recreation of this truly classic and timeless instrument. It stays true to all of the original instrument’s features and characteristics, including Gibson’s traditional hand-carved “figured” maple top and solid, and non-weight relieved mahogany body. The headstock is made from Holly head veneer, as opposed to fiber, just like it was in 1960, and the vintage-style tulip tuners are mounted in a straight line, also as they were on the original. The 24 ¾-inch scale length neck is made from one solid piece of mahogany, and attached to the body using a long neck tenon — one of the Les Paul’s more distinguishing characteristics of the late 1950s and early 1960s. The neck is topped by a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard outfitted with acrylic trapezoid inlays matching the size and color of the originals. Of course, two of Gibson’s legendary Burstbucker pickups deliver all the subtle variations of true, classic “Patent Applied For” humbucker tone by using historically “unmatched” bobbin windings and Alnico II magnets. Other historical appointments include CTS potentiometers, bumble bee capacitors, single-ply crème-colored binding on both the top and fingerboard, a period-correct thin toggleswitch washer and jackplate, and ABR-1 bridge with lightweight aluminum stopbar tailpiece. The 1960 Les Paul Standard comes with the standard Gibson Custom case and certificate of authenticity.

Gibson 498T™ humbuckers have the tonal characteristics of an original PAF but with a slight increase in upper mid-range response. The Gibson 498T™ uses Alnico V magnets for a slightly hotter output with an emphasis on mid-ranges and highs. And like the time-honored originals, Gibson 498T™ Humbuckers use only the highest quality parts including ABS plastic bobbins, 1010 Cold Rolled Steel pole shoes and pole screws, and the finest magnet wire available. Controls include standard black TopHats for volume and tone. The Ltd. Ed. Epiphone Limited Edition Le… The king of solid body guitars, the Les Paul Custom made its debut in 1954 after the initial success of the Les Paul Goldtop. Les Paul himself originally suggested black as a great color for a new Les Paul because it looked "classy" and went well with a tuxedo on stage. Now, you can own this Les Paul Custom in a limited edition Silverburst finish. And with its chrome appointments, fully bound body, neck and headstock and mother-of-pearl inlays, we think you'll still agree that the Limited Edition Epiphone Les Paul Custom is "dressed to kill." Now featuring ProBucker 2 and ProBucker 3 humbucking pickups, chrome hardware, multi-binding on body (top and back), neck and headstock as well as split-diamond mother-of-pearl headstock and block fretboard inlays, it’s as gorgeous as it is deadly.

Epiphone Les Paul Ultra III… We all know that deep down, most guitarists love the classic designs and shapes. That's why Epiphone designed the new Les Paul Ultra-III with the same look and features of a traditional Les Paul but added new technology giving you a guitar that's a real Les Paul but also so much more! It has two great pickup systems: Epiphone's new ProBucker humbucking pickups, styled after Gibson's famous Burstbuckers and the second system features Shadow, Germany's patented NanoMag pickup. Together, you get powerful humbucker-driven rock crunch as well as shimmering acoustic-like tones and everything in-between. Built discretely into the bridge pickup mounting ring is a full-function, chromatic tuner. While the Ultra-III is packed with technology, it still maintains the same basic specifications that made Epiphone Les Pauls the choice of so many guitarists including a solid Mahogany body with glued-in Mahogany neck and comfortable SlimTaper(tm) neck profile, a flame Maple veneer top and Rosewood fingerboard. The result is a modern guitar with that classic Les Paul tone and sustain. The Ultra-III features three different outputs: By using the standard 1/4" MONO output, both the Humbuckers and NanoMag are mixed into one signal. When you plug another 1/4" cable into it's STEREO output, the Humbuckers are routed through one cable and the NanaMag the other. The third output is an USB-connection to your computer (cable included) for use with software like Native Instruments GuitarRig 4LE (Free software is available for download after registration on the Epiphone site).

The third output is an USB-connection to your computer (cable included) for use with software like Native Instruments GuitarRig 4LE (included).
