Flint gives you the soothing, pulsating, and hypnotic effects that were pioneered in vintage amplifier tremolo circuits, along with three classic and completely unique reverb algorithms. You get the sonically complex '61 Harmonic Tremolo, the swampy and sultry '63 Power Tube Tremolo, and the sharp and balanced '65 Photocell Tremolo. You also get the classic '60s Spring Tank Reverb, the inventive '70s Electronic Plate Reverb, and the nostalgic '80s Hall Rack Reverb. With eight parameters to tweak, you get extensive control over the tremolo and reverb characteristics. Go from splashy, pulsing twang, to throbbing, swampy blues, all the way to ambient, trembling, and serene reverberated pads. Couple that with true bypass, and a high quality analog front end and output section, and you have yourself the history of tremolo and reverb in a pedal-board friendly format.
The new Time Bandit from Visual Sound controls your tap tempo delay pedal with a click track, dials it in with a BPM generator, and will work with just about any delay pedal that has an "external tap tempo" jack. Whether you have the Visual Sound Dual Tap Delay, a Boss DD-5, or one of many other delay pedals, the Time Bandit will allow you to be in sync with a click track without tapping. If you prefer to dial in the Beats Per Minute, the Time Bandit has a large knob that will allow you to dial it in by hand or foot and see the BPM on the LED display.
Brute Drive (BD-1) is a new distortion pedal designed by EWS. Compared to it's extreme cousin, Fuzzy Drive (FD-1), the BD-1 is designed for smooth, classic distortion sounds. With intuitive controls and a classic layout design; Volume, Gain and Tone, this versatile pedal also incorporates a Boost Switch for amplifying the low-mid/gain up to 10db!
Housed in bullet proof aluminum and as always true bypass, the Brute Drive (BD-1) will be an instant classic!
The new Bass Mid Control is the active mid-controller for bass players. A small but powerful pedal that provides frequency control adjustments between 120Hz ~ 3kHz. When using 2-band EQ or passive bass, the Frequency control provides excellent manipulation of the mid frequencies, while the Boost/Cut gives you boosting or cutting capabilities of up to + / - 12dB. This compact pedal can also be powered by a 9V battery or for additional headroom use an 18V power adapter. This pedal will provide you the flexibility to play any musical style.
The EWS Subtle Volume Control or SVC is a device based on Scott Henderson’s idea, which provides better control of your overall volume than a traditional volume pedal. With subtle increases or decreases in volume, your audience may never realize that you’ve changed your volume. The SVC goes in your amp effects loop. This allows you to control your volume without changing the gain you have dialed in at the front of the Preamp. The SVC can also be used between your last pedal and the front of the amp, but keeping your gain consistent while changing volume will not be as effective.
