Fender FSR Precision Bass S… A super cool special run version of the popular Fender Deluxe Active Precision Bass Special in Sea Foam Metallic. This huge-sounding hybrid model features an alder body with a 3 Ply parchment pickguard and a maple tinted 70’s Jazz Bass® guitar neck with black block inlays and binding. Aboard are a standard alnico split single-coil Precision Bass pickup (middle) and a dualcoil ceramic Noiseless™ Jazz Bass pickup with nickel-plated pole pieces (bridge) with pan pot switching. Controls are master volume, pan and three-band active EQ with treble boost/cut (+/- 10 db at 8kHz, a shift in the cut frequency, and about a 2dB slope per octave), mid boost/cut (+10dB, -15dB at 500Hz, and a wide band slope) and bass boost/cut (+/- 12db at 40Hz, with a 4dB slope per octave). Gibson Moderne Trans Amber The Gibson Moderne first reared its head as a prototype at NAMM 1957. Designed to 'shake up' Gibson line of solid body electrics the Moderne prototype took a back seat to the Explorer and Flying V which were designed at the same time. The first few prototypes are considered by some collectors to be the holy grail of vitnage guitars. Fast forward to 2012 and the Moderne is back! And judging by peoples reactions at NAMM 2012 it's going to ruffle just as many feathers now as it did back then!
