 Fender Custom Shop 2012 Clo… The Custom Shop 2012 Closet Classic Stratocaster Pro is a great guitar, with a swamp ash body and a distinctive Closet Classic lacquer finish that imparts the look of a long-lost but newly rediscovered instrument. For 2012, we have added a cutaway heel for easy access to the upper frets. Other special features include a quartersawn maple neck with our #3 C-shape, round-laminated 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with 9.5" radius and 6105 frets, Abby Red Hot pickups with 5-way switching and modern middle/bridge tone control.

 Fender Custom Shop 60 Strat… The '60 Stratocaster NOS is a detailed recreation of its '60s ancestor. It features an alder body, '60s C-shaped maple neck, and-for the first time in its history-a smaller truss rod and slab laminated rosewood fingerboard with clay dot markers. The pickup design is faithful to the original right down to the materials and winding, producing a characteristically smooth and glassy tone. Under the hood, we've even replicated the finish undercoating and the crude pickup-wiring routing in the body. This guitar has been given our "New Old Stock" (NOS) treatment-built (from original tooling) as if bought new in its respective model year and just found today. Comes with case.

 Fender Custom Zebra Woody A… The Woody handwired Amp actually is a Fender Pro Jr., made in the Custom Shop. The casing is made of Zebrawood, from the Central Africa region (Gabon, Congo and Cameroon). This rare wood is only available in very small quantities, and is also used in expensive Cadillac and Mercedes models. The Amp is point-to-point handwired and unique. The model was presented together with the Zebrawood Stratocaster at the Frankfurter Messe as a showcase for the Fender Custom Shop, and therefore one of a kind.

 Fender Custom Zebrawood Str… This very special Stratocaster is made of the rare African zebrawood. For as far as we know there also is a Telecaster version somewhere, but this is the only Fender Zebrawood Stratocaster in the world! NOS means New Old Stock, no aging or wearing treatment for this instrument, but an exact replica of the Stratocaster as it was made in the early '60s. Special to this unique Custom Shop instrument is the absence of a 'ribcage', it has no contouring at the back and weighs more than the traditional Stratocasters. Zebrawood comes from the Central Africa region (Gabon, Congo and Cameroon), and is only available in very small quantities. There is no other place to encounter this guitar anywhere in the world!

 Fender Sheryl Crow 1959 Cus… Fender released a new version of its already-successful Telecaster guitar in 1959. Called the Custom Telecaster, it featured top and back body binding, which, at the time, was a bold statement for Fender. It became a classic instrument. Thirty-five years later, in 1993, singer/songwriter Sheryl Crow was just about to embark on her first tour as a “new” solo artist when most of her band’s equipment, including her own Custom Telecaster, was stolen. The band quickly acquired new gear, and Sheryl’s backup guitar became her main instrument. When the band performed at the Backyard in Austin, Texas, a fan who had read about the band’s stolen gear approached Sheryl with a slightly used 1959 Fender Custom Telecaster, suggesting it as a suitable replacement for her stolen instrument. The young man explained to Sheryl that the guitar had belonged to his mother, a fan who had lost her battle with breast cancer, and that he thought it should continue to be played. Touched, Sheryl accepted the instrument, and it remains one of her favorite guitars to this day. The instrument was brought to the Fender Custom Shop in 2011 and recreated in meticulous detail. When the first replica was sent to Sheryl, in fact, she immediately mistook it for the original. The original 1959 Custom Telecaster went home, and Sheryl has used that first replica ever since. Only 60 of these instruments have been made, with one signed by Sheryl and donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation in October 2012 in observance of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Each guitar also ships with a limited edition case, strap, cable, polishing cloth, Custom Shop plectrums and a certificate of authenticity. Also included is a Sheryl Crow set list, plectrum, backstage pass and a certificate signed by Crow which tells the story of her association with the guitar.

 Fender Jeff Beck Tribute Es… This limited edition electric guitar is based on the Blonde ’54 Fender Esquire, which was used by the legendary Jeff Beck on stage to entertain his fans worldwide. The Fender Custom Shop recreated this battle-hardened and truly unique guitar in reverently painstaking detail. When Jeff Beck got his copy he was convinced that it was his own original old guitar. The Fender Jeff Beck Esquire WBL is an extremely lightweight two-piece offset ash body with a chipped black pick guard. The finish has been perfectly reproduced down to the smallest ding and scratch. The wiring is authentically “cloned” and the lone Esquire pickup was carefully recreated from the original specs by the legendary Fender pickup winder Abigail Ybarra.

 Fender 52 Telecaster Heavy… This is a tribute to the Nocaster. 1951 Relic Nocaster has a solid ash body with a flat top and no binding. The classical Tele "ashtray" bridge on this model is plated in chrome and has three saddles. Twisted Tele single coil pickups are placed both in the bridge and neck positions. They are controlled through master tone, master volume and a three position blade switch. the neck is made of maple and features an early 1950s U contour. This bolt-on neck is equipped with a maple fingerboard with 21 6105 frets and black dot inlays. Fingerboard also features 9.50 radius and 1.65" Micarta nut. The scale measures standard 25-1/2" in length.

 Fender Eric Clapton Gold Le… The original Gold Leaf guitar was built by Fender Master Builder Mark Kendrick as a custom order for Eric Clapton at the time of the 50th Anniversary of the firm in 1996 and was Clapton's main instrument of choice during the Legends period in 1997. Clapton used the guitar for the last time during his One More Car, One More Rider world tour of 2001 before selling it to Christies for US $455,000. The Fender Custom Shop reissued the Gold Leaf Stratocaster after 8 years of absence as a limited-edition run of 50 pieces. Each guitar was built to Eric's exacting specifications, with Fender's Vintage Noiseless pickups and a standard tone control instead of the Gold Lace Sensor pickups and TBX tone circuit (re-introduced in 2009) found on the original 1996 model.
