The Les Paul 1957 Goldtop Custom “The GoCu” is a guitar for players that are looking for classic Les Paul tone with just a little more “bite” when needed. The combination of BB1 & BB3 allows the player to switch between the low output neck pickup (BB1) and the high output bridge pickup (BB3) – perfect for Rhythm and Solo licks! As the guitar comes with a Rosewood fingerboard on a les Paul Custom neck the basic sound & feel is not much different to a LPR7. The look is unique!
The Gibson Moderne first reared its head as a prototype at NAMM 1957. Designed to 'shake up' Gibson line of solid body electrics the Moderne prototype took a back seat to the Explorer and Flying V which were designed at the same time. The first few prototypes are considered by some collectors to be the holy grail of vitnage guitars. Fast forward to 2012 and the Moderne is back! And judging by peoples reactions at NAMM 2012 it's going to ruffle just as many feathers now as it did back then! The truth is that radical new designs are far and few between in the guitar industry even today so the 2012 Gibson Moderne comes as a breath of fresh air. The 2012 Moderne features all Mahogany body and neck with Rosewood fingerboard and dual '57 Classic humbuckers. Finished in Trans Amber to match the original prototype, it comes in an original Gibson hardshell case.

The beautiful patterns of highly figured “flame” maple tops became the hallmark of the Gibson Les Pauls of the late ’50s. Today’s Les Paul Supreme takes it to an even deeper dimension. It starts with a stunning AAAA carved maple top and back, both mounted on a chambered mahogany body and adorned in seven-ply binding on top and three-ply binding on the back. The magnificent headstock features custom five-ply binding, an ornate earth inlay made from abalone and brass, with a pearloid “Supreme” banner draped across the front, and brass truss rod cover. Case included.

The 'Slim' in the moniker refers to the 1.715" neck width at the nut, which is a mere 16th of an inch wider than our standard electric guitar nut width. If you do most of your playing on a guitar with a fairly narrow neck (most solid body electric guitars) this is the ACS-SA for you. The slim neck of this guitar along with our Ergocut shaping technique and 16" fingerboard radius provide for a very easy transition for steel string guitar players looking to integrate nylon string guitar sounds into their music. Aside from the new neck, the ACS-SA Slim shares all of the same features that have made the ACS-SA an industry standard. The chambered, silverleaf maple body with a cedar top results in an instrument that is virtually free of feedback, making it easy to use even in loud stage situations. Includes gig bag.
