Omdat je met cajons veel verschillende geluiden kunt maken, zijn ze ideaal als vervanger voor een complete drumset. De snaren raken het speelvlak aan de binnenkant en zorgen voor het klassieke cajongeluid, dat een vereiste is in Flamencomuziek. Een gekartelde knop past de druk aan waarmee de snaren tegen het speelvlak drukken. Het rammeleffect kan zo aangepast worden van zeer licht en gevoelig tot heel hard. Martin introduceert de zeer stoere en betaalbare LX Elvis Presley Limited Edition. Net nu je dacht dat je nooit een Elvis Presley signature gitaar van Martin kom betalen, komt de Amerikaanse firma met de LX Elvis Presley. De LX Elvis Presley is een kleinere, gemodificeerde “0” style versie van Martin’s zeer succesvolle D-28 Elvis Presley CVR, welke is uitgebracht ter gelegenheid van de 30ste verjaardag na zijn overlijden. De top, gemaakt van HPL (high pressure laminate) materiaal, heeft een lederachtige gitaarcover in “Hi Wear Suede” finish, een kopie van Elvis’ custom handgemaakte lederen cover met artwork van leerlooier Charles Underwood. Het zij- en achterblad zijn ook gemaakt van duurzaam en zeer goed klinkend HPL materiaal met een textured lederachtige zwarte patterned finish.
