Each Vic Firth Signature Series model was conceived through extensive research with the finest drummers from a variety of musical styles. The designs reflect their musical requirements in terms of balance, feel, sound projection and cymbal color. The Peter Erskine Ride Stick has an extra long taper and tear drop tip for enhanced cymbal response. Beefed-up shaft for extra power. Length = 16", Diameter = .575"
The Soundcaster Fusion Matched Cymbal Set includes a 14” Medium Hihat, a 16” Medium Crash, a 20” Medium Ride and a free Professional Cymbal Case. The Soundcaster Fusion finish has an outstanding look. It combines two different finishes in one cymbal. The lathed surface section effects a thinner edge due to its close lathing compared to the unlathed, brilliant finish area at the middle of the cymbal. These different material thicknesses effect a warm and shimmering sound with an enhanced wash.
Developed in conjunction with renowned jazz drummer Adam Nussbaum, the 22” K Constantinople Renaissance Ride is a versatile instrument that works well in small to medium size musical settings. This cymbal features smoother lathing on both sides and a bell that is unlathed underneath, adding stick definition to the instrument. Three rows of over hammering and four large hammer clusters give it a dark spread with overtones and a bit of “trash.” The K Constantinople Renaissance Ride is medium-thin in weight.
The new 20” K Constantinople Bounce Ride, a smaller version of the popular 22” model launched two years ago. Like its older sibling it was developed in conjunction with Kenny Washington and features traditional K Constantinople hammering and eight unique cluster hammer marks on top that add just enough “dirt” to the sound. The new 20” model has more pronounced lathing and tonal grooves to produce plenty of dark wash and sustain. The 20" K Constantinople Bounce Ride is medium-thin in weight.
