The king of solid body guitars, the Les Paul Custom made its debut in 1954 after the initial success of the Les Paul Goldtop. Les Paul himself originally suggested black as a great color for a new Les Paul because it looked "classy" and went well with a tuxedo on stage. Now, you can own this Les Paul Custom in a limited edition Silverburst finish. And with its chrome appointments, fully bound body, neck and headstock and mother-of-pearl inlays, we think you'll still agree that the Limited Edition Epiphone Les Paul Custom is "dressed to kill." Now featuring ProBucker 2 and ProBucker 3 humbucking pickups, chrome hardware, multi-binding on body (top and back), neck and headstock as well as split-diamond mother-of-pearl headstock and block fretboard inlays, it’s as gorgeous as it is deadly.
The ACS blends classical guitar concepts with elements of solid body design. The incredibly comfortable neck from the Multiac Nylon is used here with a Maple body & Cedar top to achieve our most affordable synth access guitar ever. Although the body is chambered, response from the maple top is more typical of a solid body design than that of a traditional acoustic guitar. This design results in an instrument that is virtually free of feedback, making it easy to use even when the band gets loud. The engine in both the ACS-SA & ACS-SA Slim includes individual transducer saddles powered by a customized preamp system from the RMCTM Pickup Company. This system not only produces superb amplified sound, but also produces a hexaphonic output through a 13-pin connector enabling direct access to RolandTM GR-Series guitar synthesizers.
The Freeway Classic is the first double cutaway design by Godin in several years. In spite of the tremendous success of the single cutaway design featured throughout the Godin line, there has always been a contingent of hard-core, double-cutaway enthusiasts encouraging us to do something for them. With that in mind we went to work on the Freeway Classic. The basic formula is classic Godin, versatile, blues/rock gigging machine with ‘boutique guitar’ build-quality at a blue-collar price. The body consists of a center block of silver-leaf maple with light poplar wings. To ensure that we get the most from this potent combination, each neck and body are joined with a perfect wood-to-wood connection—free of paint or glue—that delivers maximum neck/body energy transfer. The sound of the silver-leaf maple comes at a price—it’s heavy! To balance the guitar and achieve a comfortable weight the silver leaf core is flanked with light poplar wings. This ultimately produces a comfortably light guitar with ‘heavy guitar’ resonance. The Godin humbucker-single-humbucker pickup configuration makes the most of excellent acoustic response of the Freeway. A double 5-way switch along with volume and tone controls supports the pickups. Includes gig bag.

The Freeway Classic became Godin’s most popular model almost immediately following its release. Critics admired the Freeway’s, “expensive custom guitar looks” and “big, balanced sound”. Grabbing the satin-finished, rock maple neck is akin to sliding into your favourite sneakers. But aside from great looks and feel the Freeway scores high marks in the guitar/workhorse department. The hum-single-hum configuration of the Godin pickups produce a broad spectrum of tones, including; big humbucker crunch, wailing Blues, and clean chime-like sounds—to name a few. The Freeway SA (synth access) takes all of the versatility of the Freeway Classic and adds synth/computer access via a built-in 13-pin connector, courtesy of the revolutionary Ghost pickup system installed in the bridge. The Ghost system is made in Canada and uses a proprietary harmonic dampening system that results in superb tracking. Godin’s pioneering designs in guitars with synth access have led the industry and the Freeway continues the tradition establishing new benchmarks for response, ease-of-use and affordability. Includes gig bag.
