The Big Bang is the newest model in Markbass’s Little Mark series. The compact head features a solid state preamp and digital power amp that pumps out 500 watts at 4 ohms while weighing in at a mere 4.74 pounds. It’s got all the functions employed by the rest of the line, including a 4-band EQ, effects loop, and an XLR DI output with level and pre/post EQ controls. The Big Bang takes it further by adding an auxiliary in, headphone output, mute, and Markbass’s VPE and VLF filters. A footswitch jack also allows for controlling the mute and filters.
